enough to throw a blanket over them all in an all-out race to the finish. Berry hung on to second, Siever made it into third, Wood fell to fourth, and Addison Collins put his Yamaha into fifth. Trent Hetherington put his Yamaha out in front in moto one of the 125cc Beginner class. Shelby Buterbaush, also on a Yamaha, stayed in second, with Yamaha-mounted Michael Gearhart a distant third. Tyler Reid's Suzuki came out of nowhere and weaved his way up to third before the checkers came out, with another Suzuki rider, Kyle Murrow, moving into fourth, in front of Gearhart, who went down after rubbing plastic with Reid in the last turn. Honda rider Dennis Remington won the second moto, with Buterbaush, Murrow, Hetherington and Yamaha pilot Austin Goodwin behind him. Since the moto finishes were so erratic, consistency paid off, giving Buterbaush the overall win. Yamaha rider Glenn Spears came from behind to win both motos of the 250cc Beginner class. Mike Bell got the holeshot on his Kawasaki in moto one but fell back to finish fifth. Yamaha-mounted Jeremy Weaver held the lead for three laps until Honda rider Glen Grego and then Spears caught up with him and made the pass. Grego was only in the lead a split second before Spears passed him, too. Kawasaki jockey Steven Green finished fourth, in front of Bell. Weaver got into the lead early in moto two and stayed there until just before the white flag came out. Spears, once again working his way through the pack, jumped his way into first on the tunnel jump before the finish line. This time, Weaver hung on to second, followed by Bell, Grego and Green. Kawasaki jockey Missy Clark got the holeshot in the Women's class. Suzuki rider Kim Kephart got off the gate first, but she backed off to make the first turn and Clark stayed on the throttle a little bit longer. Danne Maynor moved up from a fourthplace start to finish second on her Suzuki, while Amber Cantrell kept her Kawasaki in third place. Kephart fell to fifth, behind the Suzuki of Chris Blewett. Kephart once again got the jump off the gate in moto two, but this time she went into the first turn too hot and missed the turn, giving Maynor the holeshot honors. Maynor hung on to first until the white-flag lap, when Clark jumped past her on the tunnel jump and took it home. Maynor crossed the checkers in second, followed by Cantrell, Kephart and Shaina Skeen, on a Yamaha. eN Sooner St8te Cycle hrtc Wellston, OklahollUl Results: March 10, 2002 [Round 4) 50 (4-6): 1.
