(Above) Lange (7) i. technically third In points, but with Bradshaw out the rest of the season, he is realistically second. Here, he leads Chad Johnson (g). (Above) Josh Demuth got a bit of a luck¥ break with Bradshaw's misfortune. Bradshaw was right on Demuth'. tail in the points standings coming Into this event, but now Demuth leads by 76 points over wouldbe second-place man Darcy Lange. Bradshaw, however, bounced back to win the 250cc main event. And not only did he win, but he dominated. Bradshaw blew out of the gate and into the lead, and no one was able to get close enough to really be a threat to him. Demuth did what he could do to stay close and was rewarded with second place, finishing ahead of Lange, Johnson and Tuf Racing/ Kawasaki's Denny Stephenson. On Saturday night, Bradshaw suffered his crash during a 125cc heat race, opening the door for Demuth to roll through the main events later that night with relative ease, though he did have to work a little bit in the 125cc main. There, he had to labor his way up through the pack before taking the checkered flag ahead of Lange, Johnson Hagseth and SuzukijAxojRG3/BiII's Pipes' Rusty Holland. Demuth had it much easier in the 250cc main, where he led from start to finish, claiming his 12th win of the series. Second in the race went to Hofmaster, followed by Lange, Johnson and Stephenson. In other racing action, Bradshaw took the loot in Friday's Dash For Cash, while Hofmaster grabbed the dough in Saturday's DFC. Mike Mason won Friday's JumpOff contest, while Hofmaster won Saturday's competition, becoming the only rider this year to win both the DFC and Jump-Off Contest on the same night. Devon Pilkington swept the weekend's Kawasaki Mini 65cc racing action. CN H...pton ColiseUID HUIptIln, Vi...ln" Results: Jllnuary 25-2&. 2002 Friday 125 EX: 1. Chad Johnson (Hon); 2.
