powered past Toye on his Dunlop-shod Yamaha YZFRl. Chris Ulrich emerged in third early, but on lap two of the 12-lap event, Jason Curtis passed Ulrich on the inside of turn five. Curtis then closed on Toye and sat in his draft for the next lap and a half. Then Curtis passed Toye on the inside of turn one on lap four.
