the win, while Russell, Triest, George Stephenson and Navarro rounded out the top five. In moto two, Russell got out front early, with Scolari again hot on his heels. However, Scolari got a little anxious trying to pull off an inside pass on Russell and he and his Yamaha went down on lap three. Stephenson capitalized on the error and, although he was a ways behind Russell, he had a hold on second place. Scolari wasn't about to give up, though, and he put on a charge that saw him make his way by Stephenson on the last lap. Russell, however, was long gone, and he took the checkers with room to spare. Stephenson followed up behind Scolari for third on the day with a 4-3 score, while Brian Fetrow (6-4) and Navarro (5-5) rounded out the top five on the day. In 125cc Beginner action, Josh Stockton put together a pair of backto-back moto victories over Ronald McCasland. While Stockton took a convincing win in the first moto, McCasland gave the Suzuki pilot a run for his money in moto two. Though Stockton got off to a good start, McCasland was busy making his way through the field in a hurry. By the halfway point, Stockton had the lead, with McCasland all over his rear fender, and the two went at it, at times jumping side by side. Stockton hung tough, though, taking the checkers a mere bike length ahead of McCasland, who ended the day with a 2-2 score. Jesse Wilbur (3-3), Aaron Meyer (7-4) and Ryan D'Arrigo (6-5) rounded out the top five. TM pilot Andrew Gregg took the 125cc Intermediate honors after putting in a solid performance, leading every lap of both motos. Cory McDaniel, who hounded Gregg every lap of both motos, finished the day second overall via a 2-2 tally, while Honda-mounted Broc Owens rounded out the top three with a 3-4 effort. eN ••. - . . lOtional Tnc:Ic 1lBclI.
