track was still soft and kept workers on their toes as they tried to keep racing conditions safe. Carl's Cycle/Pro Honda Oil/No Fear's Damon Bradshaw dominated all the Pro racing. He had to pass Yamaha of Kingsport's Kevin Walker in both 125cc Pro motos. Walker gated quickly on his YZ250 fourstroke and set the pace, as Bradshaw stayed close. Walker was clearing an uphill triple on the back side on his 250 that no other 125cc rider wanted to attempt until Bradshaw followed him tire for tire. After Bradshaw cleared the triple, he made quick work of Walker, and the two pulled away from the rest of the field. Josh Summey was running a solid third, while Jon Boruff dueled with Hans Nee!. This would remain the order until the finish. Walker was again quick with the start in moto two, but before lap one was over Bradshaw had assumed the point. Boruff was riding strong as he kept pace with the top two for the first few laps. These first laps were enough for Boruff to put some distance on Summey, with Neel again rounding out the top five. Boruff stayed strong and finished third, netting third overall. In the first 250cc Pro moto, Bradshaw got the holeshot, followed by Boruff, Walker, Summey and Jason Bryant. Walker passed Boruff and closed the gap on Bradshaw, who saw Walker's tire in several comers before he finally made the pass on the uphill triple. Two turns later, Bradshaw squared off an inside line and set a pace nobody could match. At the checkers, it was Bradshaw, Walker, Summey, Boruff and Neel. In moto two, Boruff got the holeshot, with Walker, Summey, Mitchell Cooke and Bradshaw in tow. Walker quickly moved around Boruff and put some distance on Summey, who also passed Boruff. Bradshaw was having a tough time with Cooke, who was now riding well in third. At halfway, Cooke fell, injuring his knee. This left Bradshaw with a clear shot at Summey. On the next lap, Summey stalled his machine in a corner, and now Bradshaw had a clear track to run down Walker. With two laps to go, Bradshaw made the pass and led until the end, followed by Walker, Summey, Neel and Bryant. Bradshaw also scored another overall win, in the Over 25 A class, with 1-1 motos, again followed by Walker, and then Billy Liles, Richard Prather and Troy Crisp. Liles would redeem himself by taking the overall wins in the Over 30 A and Over 35 classes. In Women's class racing, Heidi Cooke from Brookfield, Nova Scotia who is traveling with her brother, Pro o • ., • Oorl"t be roadkill. buy McGraw. !he king of the road in motllfCYCle insurance for California.
