Munro rounded out the podium in third. Coupland's Joshua Propst had the early lead in the 125cc Beginner class, with CCRA rider Mike Homes and Ryan Goodman trailing. Roy Moffitt Customized Fueling's Rusty Moffitt finished out the first lap in fourth but quickly moved up to second on the second lap. Moffitt caught a break when Goodman tangled with another rider and fell down. Moffitt continued on his way to the front, passing Homes just before the end of the lap. In the blink of an eye, Moffitt found himself in the lead when Propst crashed and remounted in third. Behind Propst, Motorex's John Hurd had his hands full with Eric Cegielski, who was pressuring Hurd for fourth. Propst's moto got worse when he crashed again on the last lap, this time sending him deep into the pack.
