Geilf us blasted off the line midpack a nd then method ically picked off rid ers before passing the las t 250cc rid er and settlin g in beh ind leader Steve Hall on his flyin g 1T500. "O ne more lap an d the 250 wo uld have beat the 500," said a jubil ant Chris Geilfus after his 250cc Vin ta ge win. Ham ilton tucked in low and chased Lee, an ticipa ting a mis tak e..
