Josh N avarro has domina ted " ost of the se am son, but he foun d the Yamaha-mounted Connelly unca tch~ble in both motos. In the firs t mote, Navarrowas first off the gMe and held th e lead while Co nn elly was back in four th . Connelly took the third spo t during the first lap. Connelly's next move was to power th rough the whoop section for second. Connelly had to follow Navarro for three laps before out dis tan cing him over th e flagpole jump. Once out front, the charged-up Connelly pulled away and led the field to the checkered flag: Joe y Navarro absco nded w ith the holes ho t in the seco nd race and, once again, Conne lly was back in four th. Connelly turned th e w ick up early an d came around in the lead by lap two, with Josh Navarro tra iling. David Meyers took the thi rd sp ot mid way, making Joey N ava rro settle for fourth. Co ry Criss p rov ided most of the en tertainment in the 125cc Novice d ivision. Criss had little trouble t a king the first mot o, as he qu ickly distanced himself from Pete Scully. In the second moto, it was Scully exiting tum one ahead of the pack, with Criss hot on his tail. Criss madeseveral attemp ts the first two laps , but he only threa tened for the lead once, by going outs ide of Scully in front of the tower. Scully was able to brake in front of Criss, caus ing Criss to fall. Scully then had p len ty of breathi ng room betw een himself and Chris Livin gston . Criss was able to cha rge back up to second, and he tried to make a move on Scully on the last lap in the whoop s, but the wh oops go t the best of him and he finishe d in eighth. Scully earned the ove rall win, with Livingsto n takin g second overa ll. The 125cc Beginn er class featu red 12 rid ers, but mos t eyes were on on Aubri ana Dunn .
