Matt Karlsen rocketed their Yamahas into tum
one and opted to rail the outsid e berm, allowing
Wollaston to slip his YZ to the inside for the official honors and the lead . Colorad o Powe rspo rtssponso red Josh Kellogg, making his re tu rn to
racing after bre king his wri st in March, wasted
little time getting past Atkins and Karlsen on the

and kept Wollast on ho nest d ow n to the wire,
and Atkins came in third, followed by Karlsen .

Layne Swink , Upton and Chad Zulia n rounded
out the top five. Kellogg got off the line in seven th but rocketed up to third before the end of

next move with a pass over Atkins for the lead

Swink for fifth , beh ind Karlsen, who got off the

spots to fourth . Atki ns could only watch as Wollaston en joyed a no ther two-second cushion at
the checkers for the overall . Atkins locked up
second overall, with Upton and Karlsen follow ing. Kellogg sq ueaked ou t fifth overall with his
2-8 finish .
