Wosyluk and Bill Sellers, the latter of whom
could not put together two consistent motos.
. Gary Peak and his YZ400 were untouchable
in Over 45 action, easily winning both motos
and going 5-3 for third overall in the Over 40
Expert class.
As it often is, the Over 40 B class was the
largest of the day~ with more than 30 riders
answering the call to the line. After the mud had
settled, Tony Smith and his Kawasaki had put
together a 3-1 score for first overall, ahead of
Larry Brock's 2-3 tally. Brian Fernsmer's 4-5
results made for a olid third.

The fourth annual Autism Awareness Race had
it all, induding a raffle with hundreds of prizes
and a silent auction for gear, autographed racing
memorabilia, and three vintage bikes. More than
60 motorcycle companies, organizations and
professional nders of today and yesterday generously contributed to the collection of prizes
and auction items. Approximately 170 entries in
all signed up for AHRMA Vintage, Evolution
and selected Modern bike dasses.
BSAs were the hot ride in the Classic 500
Expert contest, as everyone rode one variation
or another of the ancient thumper. Steve Tucker used a pair of seconds to clinch the win,
ahead of Eamon Massett, with Mark Cornut in
third.
As always, the Over 40 classes were the
biggest, with a full start line aimed toward the
twisting S-shaped first turn. In Over 40 lntermediate action, Suzuki-mounted Eric Betrenbe'rger used a 2-] score to beat Doug
Kodrovach's Honda and Mark Thompson's
Maico. In the Expert division, it was Allan laggard's Honda sweeping both motos, ahead of
Matt Kretschner's Elsinore and lack Weaver's
Yamaha. John Deemer was running second in
the first moto, but his usually reliable and
immaculate Maico let him down this time, end~
ing his day. ill the Over 40 Novice contest,
Make Garbus put his Honda in front in both
motos, ahead of lim Stump's Husky and Rick
Smith's CZ.
Tom Boyd put his Husky in front of the
Over 50 Expert crowd, scoring both moto wins
over Paul Havez's BSA and Ted Grabowski's
Maico. [n Over 50 'Intermediate action, it was
Dave Dixon piloting a Maico to a pair of wins
over Lou Snedcllin's BSA and Mike Kauvlsu's
AIS.
Mark Thompson scored both moto wins in
the Sportsman 500 Intermediate class, over Pete
Dalessilno's CZ and Jason Luering's Yarnah-a.
J.T. Southern put another Maico in the victory
circle in the 500cc Novice division, ahead of
Mike Somerfield and Todd Newell.
Dave Gilbert won both motos of the 125cc
Expert class with commanding leads. The
Sportsman 250cc Expert race presented more of
a challenge; Gilbert ended up third behind
Yamaha pilot Jack Weaver's pair of moto wins
and CZ rider Bob Bitting.
