With only a few la ps to go, Feigen a nd Jo hn son began putting prt'ssure on Reinke. Feigen wo uld ma ke the pa ss, but Reinke would hold off Jo hn so n during the closing lap s. Lambrecht had closed o n Jorgen sen by u se of th e hi gh lin e as the pair took the w hite flag. Going down the back str etch for the fina l tim e, jorgense n w as p inc he d off by a lapped rid er , and Lambrech t mad e the pass on the to p side. Jor gen sen tried to re bo un d throug h turns three a nd four, bu t Lamb rech t held o n for the w in. Several of the SO ri de rs also lined up for cc th e Mini 60cc class, w hic h ma d e for ano ther lar ge grou p of littl e rid ers. Back in the pa ck, 50ce rid ers Th om ey Der tien an d Alex Jo rgensen were bat tling for the fifth pos itio n, with Der ik Laddusaw close be hind . Up fro nt, Bissell began to roc ket away from second-placed Ahl. The tight batt les mad e the race exciting for the parents and fan s, even thou gh very fe w p a sses were ac tually mad e. Bissell was fla t out smoking , a nd he took the win. Ahl held off Trende for seco nd, w hile Su llivan and Der tien round ed ou t the top five. The Mini SOcc class saw points leader Ryan Deighton line up next to th e 60cc main-ev ent win ner , Bisse ll. In s ta nt Bail Bonds- ba cked Deig hto n launched his Hond a off the line first, with Bisse ll, Ca le b Sullivan a nd Devin Wenz close behin d . De termined to repea t, Bissell powered in on Deigh ton but fou nd hi mself taking a so il sample. Biss ell's cras h moved Su lliv an to second , with A-Tech Cyde/ L&R Racing-backed Wen z in hot purs ui t. Colton Trend e and Jacob Ahl com pleted the first lap behind fifth-placed rid er Robert Tho mpson but then began a mar ch to the fron t. Tren d e slipped to four th, behind Wenz , wh en the ra ce w as red-fl ag ged fo r a crash.The field was sh uffled dramatically o n the res tar t, but Dei ghton was s till in cha rge, wit h T rende and W en z fo llow in g. We n z w ould secure seco nd w ith two laps to go as Thompson made his way to third. Sulli van ma de it back to fo u r t h af te r d ro pp ing to six th o n th e res ta rt.
