and tried to reel Shue back in. The closest racing was between Wh itmire and David Lowery for third . The two fought until the finish, with Whitmire coming out on top. Super Mini act ion sa w the Suzukis o f Michael Sizemore and Chris Ivey running up front. Sizemore jumped the doubl e every lap and gained th e edge on Ivey , w ho began to a ttack the double jump at the halfway point and began to ma ke a den t in Sisemore's lead . With only a lap to go, Ivey clipped the second half of the double an d suffered a mechanical DNF. This moved Ty Conwa y up to third . lindsey and Bullington we re in a class by themse lves for the second tim e in Scho olboy competition. Lindsey was slightly quicker ou t of the turns, an d that was the key to victo ry. On the last lap, Lindsey tangled with a lapped rider and went d own. Willian LONOON, KY, JULY 8 Team Green/FMF/ Suspension Plus-backed Ben Rid d le ignited at the Dan iel Boone Motocross Fourth of July weekend celebration, which hosted 310 entries from five sta tes, as he won in a trio of classes: 125cc B, 2SOcc Band Unlimited . The firs t round of the 125cc B actio n sa w F&S Su zu ki/ Prolon g's J. R. Carter ge t the holesho t off the gate. Carter's lead was shortlived , how ever, as Riddle throttled by to take the front spot, 'where he mad e a miscue during the second lap , allowing J.T. Smith to move into firs t. Riddle tried to d ive to the inside of Smith, but Smith fought back, giving it his all to ho ld off the cha rging Riddle. By lap four, Riddle took back the front spo t and had a comfortable rid e to the checkered. Smith finis hed second, while Carter, who had spun ou t on the second lap and broken his clut ch lever, had to set tle for fourth. The second moto saw Riddle ride to perfection, chalking up another win. Carter came back after making bike repairs to land the second spot, as Smith dropped to fourth and Steve Hensl ey took third, ~pea ting his first-moto finish.
