Nash put it in cruise mode for the final few laps to take the w~ over McIntosh and collect first-place money. Burnsworth switched to a Honda for the Hey Day 125cc Pro class and would go wire-towire for the first moto win. Chris Neitzel gated second and held the position until the checkers fell. Burnsworth shadowed Neitzell's every move for a lap before inching his way past in a whoop section. Neitzel stuck with Burnsworth for a lap before the former Yamaha and Suzuki factory rider upped the pace and pulled away for the overall win. Davis caught Neitzel at the halfway point and made him work for his second-place earnings. Eric Cook got around fast starter Steve Gordon to runaway with th,e first Hey Day 250/500cc Intermediate win. Gordon stalled his Maico and would finish third to Krik Barnett. Gordon grabbed his second holeshot of the day only to get out of shape in some freshly watered whoops to allow Cook to pass. Cook was disappearing until stalling his Maico and dropping way back before getting restarted. Barnett jumped past Gordon to win the moto and the first-place trophy. Results VINT: 1.
