Yoder jumped in front of Price, Varnes and
Tom McGrane Jr. in the 600cc Pro final and held
off Price for the first two laps, but then the
inevitable happpened as Price took the lead
starting on the third lap. Varnes took second
with an outside pass coming off the second tum
on the fifth lap.
McKee put his Hannll1Il's Cycle-sponsored
SllZuJci in front of Roy Miller, Don Mullen and
Jim Haas in the 250cc A final The order stayed
the saine on the windblown, hard, slick surface.
Miller put his ABBA Services-sponsored Rotax
in front of 30+ winner Jim Hollister, Don Mullen
and Mike McKee. McKee took third on the
fourth lap and slipped tmder a tiring Hollister
starting the seventh lap, with Mullen coming
along.
