Hawk pulled out a huge lead in the 80cc A
main and was well ahead of the Holden /Wa ite
shootout until Holden kicked in the afterburners
to ca tch Haw k. Holden and Haw k were side by
side with a lap to go, but the pair tangled a nd
Holden wen t down. Hawk scored the win over
Waite and Nick Sellers, who earlier won the 60cc
A main. Holden, though. ca me back to be at
Waite and Hawk in the 125cc A ma in.
Prindiville's day got better, as he topped a
competitiv e 250cc A m a in . Oregon' s Beau
Brown got th e jump on the field despit e an
underpowered Honda XR 200, but saw his lead
evaporate as Prindiville. Eric Beers, Byron Dotso n and Waite got a round the ex-mi n ibike
speedster, who filled out the top five.

Godinez reappeared after many yea rs of retirement and sm oked th e Vet Intermediate class
w ith a d ouble-mota sw eep during the final
ro und of the Starwest supercross ticket series.
Godinez pulled the holeshot in the first mota
and ran away from the field, giving the spectators who braved the icy temperatures a high-flying aerial d isplay.
The second moto saw Godinez start last then
methodically weave his way through the field to
an other moto deliv ery .
Mike laPaglia con tinued to dominate th e
SOcc (4-6) class by earning another conv incing
class victory on the main track.
Chase Taka cs got the best of Bryce Terzien
for second by virtue of more consistent riding,
while Jason Griffm and Chad Gores rounded out
the top five.
