Seyfferle sweeps Lawrenceburg Dirt Track By John SpurrIer LAWRENCEBURG,IN, jUtY28 joe Seyfferle had a great night at the lawrenceburg Motorcycle Speedway, winning his 600cc Pro-Am heat race, the 600cc Pro-Am feature and the Over 30 feature. Seyfferle got the holeshot in the Pro-Am feature and went wire-to-wire for his victory. Pat Behrle was fourth off the line, pas ed Stev.e johnson on the back straight, then passed john Murphree on the second lap and set out for Seyfferle. Behrle caught up to Seyfferle late. in the race and tried to get by the leader with an outside pass in turn two. The pass attempt didn't work, however, and Behrle fell back several bike lengths to finish second. Tony'Moore held the fourth spot until the~ halfway point when he bobbled coming out of turn two, letting Ben Bellman and johnson past. Moore then crashed, unhurt, in the middle of back straight and everyone went by. " Tommy Hensler was able to overtake jo~ son on the eighth lap to finish fifth behind Seyf ferle, Behrle, Murphree, and Bellman. 'f Seyferrle immediately returned to the starting line for the Over 30 feature. When the light went green he charged into the lead and went on to win by a full straightaway over Wade Summers, Mike Daniels, Phil Woll and Robert Brown.
