Ken Kozlik edged Tea m Green s ta r De stry

. A less-than-sharp Abb ott took a tumble on
the first of three laps, and trailed Bryan Bruning
and Kozlik into the pits. Abbott was feeling the
effects of a sligh t sho uld er separation suffered a

as well as the high-speed sections and the d ifference in engine s ize, resulted in a 12·second
deficit for Abbo tt at the finish.
Whiplash 's pre viou s '94 entry list was low ,
tallying only 35 bikes . But in an am azin g tumaround, this event boa sted 233 en tries . The nmile course used pa rt of the previous da y 's

neck and neck for almost two laps until Pierce's
KTM 250 developed a flat fro nt tire . Pierce's
crew was unable to repair the tire and sent him
back out on the course. Pierce ga ve it a good
