Josh Taran ti n o was impressive as he raced home in second, while Dost al rounded o ut th e top th ree a nd ea rned seco n d overall. Taran tino was third, while Andy Harrington an d [T's Jimmy Varis ro unded out the top five. Cynthia Col e was th e queen of the Wom en's Pro class as she came hom e the w inner with perfect 1-1 moto scores. Dee Wood posted 2-2 scores for second, while Kristy Shealy wa s held to third overall by crashes in b oth o u ti ngs. Shea ly was arguably the quickest of the females, but a pair of spills kept her from earning the top spot. Jodi Holl ow topped the first Women's Intermediate moto, but dropp ed to fourth in moto two. Carla Chinen raced home the w inner in th e second outing and earned th e overall prize, thanks to her second-place finish in moto one: Lisa Henderson wa s second overall ahead of , Hollow. SATURDAY Windham grabbed the hol eshot at the start of the 35-minute-p lus- two-Iap 12Sec Pro final and nev er looked back. By the ' end of lap one, Windham had al ready exten ded his lead to six seconds, while the res t of the field scrambled for position. Davis suffered a terrible start, completing lap one in 13th. Honda R&D rider Jeff Pe stana h eld d own th e runner -u p position early in the race, bu t eventually fad ed to ninth at the finish . Casey Johnson was next to hold down second, bu t as the race w o re down, the li k able yo ungster faded to an even tual seventh. After starting the race in ninth, Healey raced through the field w ith a vengeance to earn second at the finish, some 20 seconds behind Windham, but w ell ahead of third-placed Sh aun Kalo s, who comp et ed aboa rd an FMF -backed Suzuki. Da vis turned in a credible ride for fourth. " I pushed until Dad held out a sign that s ai d ' P lus 20 /" sa id W indham . "Then I started to back down a bit. Wh en th e sign said 'Plus 15: I figured th at I should p ick it up again." The 12Scc Intermediate class featu red what w as perhap s the best racing of the day. Angelo Ingrande led the ear ly lap s, b ut w as no m atch for Nathan Woods, Sh aun P erolio and Dusti n Nelson. Together, the three ride rs easily ou tdistanced the rest of the field an d began a private war over the top sp ot. Woods dropp ed bac k when he fou nd h im self running si de-sadd le w ith his mac hine, an d sudden ly all eyes were focused on Pero lio a n d N e lson . Perolio le d the ma jori ty of the laps, but cracked und er the co ns ta n t pressure applied by th e speedy Nelson. At the finish, Nelson led Pe ro li o b y a matter o f in ch es , w hile Tr avis Preston rac ed home thi rd after overtaking Woods late in the race . SUNDAY 34 Kal os led the w ay at the start of th e 250cc Pro fina l, but had Lechi en, Da vis a n d W indham in hot pu rsuit . Ka los eventually dropped off the leader 's pac e to finish sixth . Lechien was th e first to in heri t th e lead, and managed to pull away a bit
