I 'll be ready next week at Troy." ~ Results 8 "It was just a fluke problem with the carburetor," explained Ernig. "Everyone keep s askin g if I forgot to turn the gas on; we're not that dumb." Craig took over from Emig, and was showing impressive speed in his comeback race . He soon tired, though, and Henry assumed the lead for good . Second was Team Splitfire/Hot Wheels Pro Ci rcu it/Kawa saki rider James Dobb, who won hi s first-ever 125cc National one week earlier at Unadilla. Craig held on for third, with Kawasaki Team Green's Scott Sheak fourth and Suzuki support rider Larry Ward fifth. ' Emig worked up to 10th by mota's end. Craig wa s firs t aro un d tum one in mota two, with Emig a close sec ond. Emig quickly moved by for the lead, which he immediately began to extend . Craig again showed impressive speed early on, but began to slip back as he tired, and Henry soon sat in second. Henry, the Eas tern Reg ional 125cc Supercross Champion, tried to close the gap on Emig, but wasn't able to make a serious charge. Ernig rode strong to the finish, while Henry backed off notic eably in the final laps, su ffering from heat exhaustion.
