made contact and Henry was knocked
o u t o f his groove, but neither wen t

" He was pretty agg res sive, but he
was riding fast and I could have backed
off and let him by," said Henry. "It WaS

it always feels good to win ."
" I let Doug bea t me last week (at
Unadilla ), and tha t made my week pretty miserab le," Emig said. " I do n't know
how ha rd he wa s tryin g towards the
end, but I had a good mota."
"Not bad for my first race back," said
Craig. "My ankle didn't hurt, but I go t
tired. I had the speed though. I 'll be
ready next week at Troy."

"It was just a fluke problem with the
carburetor," explained Ernig. "Everyone
keep s askin g if I forgot to turn the gas
on; we're not that dumb."
Craig took over from Emig, and was
showing impressive speed in his comeback race . He soon tired, though, and
Henry assumed the lead for good .

which he immediately began to extend .
Craig again showed impressive speed
early on, but began to slip back as he
tired, and Henry soon sat in second.

gap on Emig, but wasn't able to make a
serious charge. Ernig rode strong to the
finish, while Henry backed off notic eably in the final laps, su ffering from
