Whil e Thom pson cont inu ed to lead u p fro n t, a battle de velo p ed between LaMon te and Robinson ove r se con d p lace. Robinso n spe n t almost th e en tire mo ta ca mped ou t on LaM on te' s rear fend e r, loo kin g for a w a y a rou nd . He nev er found it and LaMo nte took second behind Thom pson.
