In the second m oto , Megaw was right behind Ettesvold off the line but he couldn't catch Etlesvold ei t he r, and this time Cunni ngham followed Megaw for third place . Danelle Deal pro ved to be the fastest female rac er o f th e day . In the fir st Women's class mote, Deal won by a bi g margin ov er Tri cia Noben, Tracy Alexander and Karen Hodkinson. Brant, Hicks split wins at Glen Helen Speedway By Elain e Jones GLEN HELEN, CA,JUNE30 Scott Brant and Gary Hicks are eme rging as the top contenders at Glen Helen Speedway . As of Wednesda y night Brant had won four Handicap mains and three Scratch mains while Hicks has four Scratch main and two Handicap main wins under his belt. Hicks got a great gate in the Scratch main on the Cohon & Hicks /Sisco Roofing /Cirello/SI1'sponsored GM and literall y was slingshoted into the first tum. Charlie Venegas gave chase but ha d to settle for seco nd. Mike Faria was thi rd an d Doug Nicol had to watch from the pits when he rolled into the tape and was disqualified. .
