Andy Stacey b rought h is Tuf Racing-backed
Kawasaki to th e Tri-County Fairgrounds in
Mendota for the season opene r of the Mega-X
Shoo t-Ou t Stadium MX Series and proceeded to
run away with the show by besting the best of
the best in Ihe 250cc A a nd 30+ classes .
It took two qualifiers and a LCQ to sort out
the 125cc B division. Mike Olson topped John
Allen , Ray Magana and Mall Wilson for the first
qualifier wi n. In the second it was Joey Mackey
outstyling Cha d McDonald, Dan Modaff a nd
Cha e Evans for his spot in the final. The LCQ
would fill the final th ree spots atlhe 17-p lace
gate for the final and it was John Hartman. Sam
Justice and Joe Buskirk fighting their wa ys to the
front for the transfer spo ts. In the final, Mackey
ran to the front quickly and ran awa y with the
w in o v e r Mike Olsen, Dan ModaH, Ch ad
McDonald and John Allen.
Th e 80cc qualifier b el onged to Shawn
Kennedy and his Leipo ld Honda. He bested Joe
