.Turn to Prime Network Prix Kawasaki Challenge held at Argyll Park, and the Boss Moto-X promoted event saw Great Northern/Mike's Cycle Placerville Kawasakisponsored Danny Turner dominate the Expert class. At the start of the first Expert moto, Turner rounded tum one following the Suzuki duo of Emmet Ramirez and Phil Crane, but before he had reached the second tum he was in control of the lead for good. While Ramirez and Crane battled over second, Turner began opening up a lead that he would maintain to the finish. Crane finally got a handle on second, and as he settled into a comfortable pace he began to quicken his lap times. In the second haU of the moto, he was able to trim Turner's lead but when the checkered flag flew, Turner went by a third of a lap before Crane. Ramirez finished third. Turner and Crane started the second moto dicing for the lead, but Turner again began to open a comfortable lead. Though Turner put some space between himself and Crane, it took a little longer since Crane was hooking it hard this time out. At the finish, Turner took the moto and overall wins, while Crane finished a little closer second for the same overall. Ramirez developed mechanical problems late in the moto but still salvaged third and third overall for the day. Richard Quinones and Steve Swisher diced it out in the 250cc B class, with Quinones taking both molo wins for the overall and Swisher taking second both times out for second overall. Chuck Riedmuller was a force to be reckoned with in the 250cc C class, as he held off a tough challenge by Mall Kirar to win both motos for the overall. Kirar was able to finish with a pair of seconds for the runner-up spot while a 4-3 tally earned Richard Spindell third overall. Fourth· overall went 10 Greg Quinones while Josh Carlson ftnished fifth overall 5-4 score. Eric Liddell rocketed into the lead at the beginning of the Up the Hill B/C first molo but after opening up a big lead on Richard Quinones, he toasted the motor on his aging Suzuki and Quinones took over the lead and stayed for the win. Quinones backed it up with the second molo win for the overall. Greg Quinones won both UTH C molos for the overall while Spindell went 3-2 for second overall. After a second in moto one, Eric Doble had a little trouble in the second moto and had 10 settle for thiid and third overall. Phil Rose styled his way 10 both Vet B molo wins to capture the overall wh.ile Daniel Sturgeon took second overall with a second place finish in the second moto after following Swisher in at third the first go-round. Swisher earned third overall with a second moto third while two fourths set Mark Lagomarsino in at fourth overall. In the 125ee !l/C first moto Sergio Fernandez was able to take the win as he passed David Lordermeier on the last lap. Fernandez came back in molo two to score the decisive win for the overall ahead of Lordermeier with Lordermeier, taking the C class overall Ernie Cabral overcame a first molo, first-lap cra~h to remount and advance to second by the checkered. He backed that up with another second in the final molo for second overall in the C contingent.
