Rob Nu nez dominated the Over 30 Year Old clas s d uring the Contine ntal Motocross Club night MX held at G len Helen OHV Park . Carl Gaza fy led the first mo to during the o pe ni ng live laps of th e race while Nunez and Don Pastell were engaged in an all -ou t battle (or second. Soon th e momentum of the secondplace battle pushed the th ree riders together for a n all -o ut confrontation for the lead which climaxed wh en Nunez mad e a daring pass on . Gazafy. O nce out front, Nunez styled over the tabletops and floa ted over the do uble jumps to score the moto win over Gazafy a nd Pastell. The second moto mimicked the first with Gazafy out fro n t pe rs ued by Pastell and Nunez. O nce aga in Nunez had th e moves and passed Pastel1 on lap three and Gaza fy on ' lap six to assu me the lead . Nu nez o nce again styled awa y fo r the win fol1owed by Gaza fy and Pastel1. Sal Ugarte scored a co ntroversial win in the 125cc No vice cla ss after the startin g ga te brok e prior to th e second mow . Halfway into th e first la p. H ayn passed Corbi no, Painter an d Str ick land III one swoop. Hayn then pa ssed Park er and McLell an in the sweeper to take the lead. H ayn quickly began to pull away as Strickla nd o u t-powered Parker then McLellan do wn the lo ng front strai ght away. Brandon Smith pulled th e hol eshot in th e first moto wit h Gary Kellus and Eri c Pinson righ t on h is rear wheel. By lap six of th e eig ht ·lap race. Dwayne Bon e moved in to second after a firs t turn crash . Smi th finished first, followed by Bone. Mot a two saw Damyn Swanepoel first to turn on e, fol1owed by Smith and Bone. As Sm it h worked the lin es to make a move for first, Bone got a driv e out of a turn and made the pass on Smith.
