Nelso n rem ounted and char ged back to fifth . whic h was good eno ugh for the o vera ll win since the rest of th e field fin ished with great inco nsistency. Chris Repp had a perfect ni ght in th e 125cc Beg in ner class as he scored back -to-beck moto wins o ver arch ri val Sal Uga rte. Repp ra n away wit h the first mo ta wh ile Uga rte was left on the gro u nd at th e sta r t. Ugarte mad e a terr ific cha rge to second by th e end of th e moto. Rep p a nd Ugarte battled th e len gth of the seco nd mota but RepF rod e smar t to score the mota a nd a vera I victo ry by to pping Uga rte and Bill y Reim er. Meanwhile Aaro n Rogers shot past Barr ington o ver th e doubles. O nce o ut £ro m , Parso ns began _ put some di sta nce o n Douglas. On to the th ird lap , how ever, Parson. mi.judged a doub le, landed o n a hay ba le and wen t down. Parso n. wa s q ui ckl y pa ssed by both Dougla. a nd Ro gers, and by th e tim e he remo un ted Barr in Rto n and Vic Hagen had shot past as well . Barrington' s ride in th ird p lace was sho rt- lived as he wen t down a lm ost imme d iately o n the big dou ble. In the end, Dou glas cru ised to a n easy win over Parson s, while Rogers fi ni.hed th ird ahead of Barrington. At th e sta rt of the firs t 125cc Novi ce class m o lO, Barrington sto le th e hol esho t and loo ked to be a su re win ner. But al mid-race. Barrin gton went down, a llo wing Justin Puzz in lO th e lead. Withi n three laps, Barrin gton had ru n Pu u dow n and .et up a pa.. th rough the rockers. With Justin' Bro wn closi ng in . Barrin~ton was able to ge t unde r way. It took Bamng ton much lon gger to get to the front in th is mot o , but with two laps left. Barrington caugh t Pu zz an d put on the pressure. This paid off as Pu zz stalled hi s eng ine a nd Barrington went aro und him Corth e win.
