The Cycle Shop-sponsored Fenn

ehind through the first turn. Seay

ropped back after getting loose off

during lap two and cruised to the'
win followed by Fenn and then
Jones. Stanley Weed and Dan Welch
finished a distant founh and fifth,
respectively.
Fenn claimed the lead in moto two
ahead of Jones and Seay. Jones went
down and Seay busted trying to avoid
hitti ng bim.
Seay later said, "Jones fell right
in front of me. I didn't know what
his bike was going lo do. He was
£lipping everywhere. I put on the
brakes at the face of the jump and
hit the back side of the next jump.
Then I started flipping and went
over the bars. I got up and didn't
know where I waS. They (Seay's pit
crew) pulled me o£f the track."
Fenn rode out front to the win.
Weed, Welch, Phillip OSLrowski and
Dean Joiner rounded out the top five.
Timmons claimed the lead at the
start of the first Combined Senior
class mow as Kevin Mathews pushed
from behind. Mathews got off the
pace, allowing Floyd Carter, Joe
Carter and Donnie Jackson to get
ahead. Timmons pulled away and
established a comfortable lead early
in the mow. Joe Caner moved into
the second place posi tion lo ride 'all
alone to the final flag. Jackson and
Floyd Carter battled over third. Floyd
Caner stalled, allowing Jackson to
pull some space and KevinMathews
to get around before he was back on
the gas. Timmons cr·uised lo the
overall mow win ahead of Joe Caner
(the only rider in the 30 Plus cla·ss).
Mathews reeled Jackson in to claim
the second place finish in the 25 Plus
class. Jackson, Floyd Carter and
Fortson Rumble followed in that
order.
Timmons took control for the
second moto and Jackson followed.
Mathews got around Jackson after
the halfway poinl. Timmons
wrapped up the mow win and the
overall. Mathews and Jackson finished second and third, respectively.
