J ones cam e fro m last to second in rna to o ne, th en took th e lead early to win th e second round. As th e ga te drop ped for th e first mota th e first rid ers o ut of the ga te were J eff Emig, Jason Owens a nd Ricky Ware. J on es had been bumped from both sides a t th e sta rt, causing " him to be in last pl ace a t the first tum. J ones immedi atel y turned up the wi ck a nd started passin g rid ers work in g h is wa y up fro m 15th t~ fou rt h. J ones was breathing down the necks of Emig and Ware, wh o were battling for second place. As Jones put the pressure on Emig and Ware co ll ided with both riders going down . J on es th en caugh t up to and began pushing Ow ens . It was a p~oto finish , with Owens taking th e win . The second rnoto found Owens with th e holesh ot with Emig and J on~s dose beh ind. J ones pas sed Ernig then Ow en s to mo ve into firs t wh ich he held for th e remainder of the ra ce. Ow en s fin ished second and second overall ahead of Emig. Coffee topped the Expe rt class riders with a score of 51 points. Brad Howard was second with 32. Ron Ru ss fin ished in third place with 38 points a n d Bob Capistrant was fourth with 82. . The Advanced class win went to Brian Adh erne with 78 points. Second went to David Rich a rdson with 90 po ints and Sam Bowm an was third with 102. MIch ael Beaudoin finish ed in fifth pl ace wi th 140 points. T he Senior wi n was awarded to Martin Meida with 34 points. Second was Ed Logan with 109. In the No vice class Brandon Bouman was first pl ace winner with II points. Second was Paul Albrecht with 15 and a close th ird was Randall Ireland with 17.
