Huffman, Hart hot at Washougal MX By Cla y Light WASHOUGAL, WA, OCT. 18 Ryan Huffman, fresh off a double class win at th e Gold Cup finale, cam e to Washougal Motocross Park for th e fin al race of th e season, the WahougaI Championship race and won th e 80cc Intermediate and lO5cc classes with 2-1 and 1-1 performances, respectively. Grayson Hart, this year's Motocross Northwest Number One Professional, rode his Honda CR500 to ,1-1 wins in th e Open Pro cla ss and took second to Tony Graves in th e 125cc Pros. _ Huffman battled it out in both' 80cc Intermediate motos with Kawasaki-mounted Jason McCormick , who is rapidly becoming a force to be reckoned with. McCormick won the first moto, but Huf- · fman ca me ba ck to dominate the second , beating McCormick and Shane West, who was third after postin g consist ent 373 performan ces. McCormick, new to the J05cc clas s, couldn 't do much to put the clamps on Huffman, winner of both motos. Third went the way of Kawasaki jockey Cory Blumberg. The Championship's largest cla ss was ' th e 125cc Juniors. H ondamounted Jeremy Skokam won both motos while no one else in the field ' matched hi s spee d or cons istency.
