KAL GARD CONGRATULATES KYLE LEWIS AND HIS COMPETITION I! Fighting off tough competition at San Diego, Kyle Lewis took his first-ever Supercross victory by leading from start to finish. Kyle's talent and Kal-Gard's Competition 2 gve him the edge he needed to win. Congratulations to both for a job ~ well done!K8tG8RD. J Winner of the 250cc Intermediate class - Tallon Vohland. Kawasaki, Vohland set aut after the leaders and began picking off riders one by one. By the fourth lap, Vohland had labored into second place with Deckert, Davis and McGlintock holding control of third through fifth. Once into second, a IO-second gap separated the leader Vlach and Vohland, who was on the gas and charging. With a few laps remaining, Vohland was within striking distance of Vlach. But with thecheckered flag in his grasp, Vlach gave it his all and managed to keep Vohlandatbay. However, Vohland's 1-2 tally was more than enough to capture the overall. Second overall with a 3-4 tally went to..Davis, while McClintock (4-5), McLain (6-6) and Mike Durbin (8-7) rounded out the top five. In the 80cc Expert class, Suzuki rider Jimmy Gaddis wrapped up the class championship after cleaning up both mOLDS in Porterville. Buddy Antunez made it a 1-2 Suzuki sweep by taking second with a 3-1 taity. Gaddis' main foe throughout the series was Honda rider Jimmy Button, but Button could 'only salvage a 2-9 moLO combo for a fifth overall and second in the series. Gaddis wound up with 343 points in the series, while Button finished up with. 325. Joshua Dunn won a nail-bitingseries championship in the 80cc Junior 12-16 class after collecting wins in both motos. The two wins gave Dunn a three PQint series victory over Yamaha rider Louie Romo, who went 2-2 on the day.
