Al Smith has a stranglehold in the Expert class, onceag-ain claiming the win, today, with a perfect I-I score. He's completely dominated the Expert class for the past two months. Fred Collin, fresh (rom the Amateur class/ rolled to a second overall, while Dick Framptin took his KTM to a third. Another I-I winner today went to the Amateur class victor, Carl Cotton and his Honda. Don Bourdeau motored LO a second in the firs moLO, while Hal Grady settled for third. Barnes, Stovall star at B&B MX By Linda Brewer MACCLESFIELD, NC, APR. 26 Bobby SLOvall hared the spotlight with Timothy Barnes in Saturday's B&B Speedway MX. Carolina Bracko/Stan's Cyclesponsored Stovall held off challenges from Wayne Guinn LO win the 80cc Pro class, and made it a double vi LOry occasion by winning both 250cc Amateur clas motos. Howard Land finished a strong econd in both 250cc moLOS. Barnes also won two classes as he outbauled Vann Gibson in the 250cc Pro class and LOpped the Open class ahead of Shannon Hawkins. Scott Riggs turned in an outstanding performance in the 125cc Amateur class. The lead changed three times in the final moLO with Lee Williford, Brad Proctor and Riggs taking turns out front.
