The Arlet brothers also maintained hot streaks, with Eric scoring wins in the Super Mini and Mini 12-13classes. He was paced by 7-11 winner Davey Yezek in both Super . Mini motos. Lance Kerr took second in the first moto on his Kawasaki; with Freddie Turjan finishing third. Arlet nearly did not ride the second moto after an embarrassing crash during a table top cross up at the first moto finish line. But the 16year-old did start, moved out front early, and kept Turjan at a distance throughout the moto. Turjan dropped his Suzuki on the last lap but was able to recover before Kerr and Stan Talago could get by. Arlet also raced the 125cc B class, but it was two part-time Mini riders, David Blackham and John Bogovich, who took turns leading the 125cc heats, The two had battled earlier in the day with Blackham's Vama- " ha taking both Mini 14-15 wins. Blackham took the first 125cc rnoto in front of Arlet and Mike Crafton, wi.th Bogovich finishing fourth.
