The competition at Willow Springs was tough, The top riders had only one thing on their minds.
To somehow get past Doug Toland and his Vance & Hines-prepared Suzuki at the 2nd Round of the
AFM/GSX-R National Cup Series in California.

But before the first lap of the 750 Stock Production race was over, their worries had just begun.
And Toland's were far behind him. So far; in fact, that in winning, Doug and his Suzuki GSX-R750 set a
new track record for their class. Then, in the Formula USA Open Qass event, Toland rode his GSX-RllOO
to a repeat performance.
As for the competition, they witnessed the bike that will keep
Suzuki ahead for a long time. The same bike
