Riding his twoyear-old Yamaha, Brady managed a second place finish behind Eddie Almond in the opening mota. David Heath showed the way at the start of mota two with Almond in close pursuit. On the fourth lap Almond fell, giving second position to Brady. With three laps remaining, however, Brady crashed over a jump and DNF. Heath held on for the win, his 3-1 netting second overall behind Almond's 1-2. In the first Senior Mini mota Trey Phillips outdistanced the pack en route to the win over Bryan Rice. William Mutimer initially held second spot but suffered two spills and had to settle for a fifth place finish. Mutimer put his Barr's Competition-backed Kawasaki into the lead on the first lap of the second mota. Lap two, however, saw Phillips go by for the lead. Then, with two laps remaining, the Phillips/Mutimer duo was stalled by a lapped rider. Mutimer seized the opportunity and jumped into the lead and won with a threesecond lead over Phillips. Phillips' overall victory remained intact as his 1-2 topped Mutimer's 5-1 and Rice's 2-4. ", . Results 65: 1. Chuck Shirley (Kaw); 2. Ritchie Horton (Kewl; 3. Petrick Mimi (Kewl. 85 JR; 1.
