Honda rider Joe Abbinanti turned finishing power into winning energy as he rode to victory in the 125cc Novice Kyle styles, Cook booksinSRACMX Abbinanfi absolutely at CRC 'DunesMX By Lee Taylor class of a California Racing Club mOlocross on the International track at Indian Dunes. In the first moLO, Paul Matthews, a long-time Mini racer making his first stan on a 125, took the holeshol. Cagiva rider Rob Sassen was the first one LO pass Mallhews, and Abbinanti and joe Klawa also found their way past to finish 2-3. 1l was Klauza's turn to take the lead in the secondmoLO, but he eventually dropped back to fourth as Danny Barnell worked his way into the lead. johnny Calia finished second with Abbinanti third. Overall it was Abbinanti, Calia and Klauza. In the 250cc Beginner dash Honda rider jobn Pennala got off LO a good start by leading the first moLO wire to wire. Russ Rober and john jackson finished second and third, respectively. jackson bad the lead as the second moLO began, but Chris Paulsen and Cary Taylor soon caugbt up to him, and then dropped him LO third. Pennala suffered from a poor stan, but threaded his way through the pack to finish founh, and that was good enough for the class win.
