Smith has only been racing for six months and is one o{ the many graduates {rom the Russ Darnell Motocross School. Tim Kosi took the holeshot in the first moLO being followed by Smith. The lead hanged as Smith made the winning pass on the finish-line turn. Kosi captured second over Andy Dix, Howard Mannes and JeH Gores. In the final bout it was Kosi taking the holeshot again, with JeHTerry in second and Smith in third. Smith zapped Terry on a tum by the start nd then Kosi on the finish-line tum. Kosi apparently overshot the berm nd made it easy for Smith LO take ver.
