PlJoto finishes aplenty at Corona By Elaine Jones CORONA, CA, AUG. 10 Good Pro racing, excellent sportsmen racing and a Malcolm Smith Shop Challenge made for a fun-filled evening at Corona Raceway tonight. About 15 employees of Malcolm Smith dusted off their machines and came out for some good clean grudge racing between the warehouse and the shop, and when the dust had seuled it was the consensus of opinion that a good lime was had by all. Who won was of liule importance as most of these RUYS had never even ridden a f1allraCk, but motocross bikes be darned, they gave a very good accoum of themselves and had some good racing. The only one that couldn'l be talked into racing was Malcolm himself, and no amoum of cajoling could make him suil up. The first race for the Malcolm Smith crew was the 25Occ, and it was Bill Manley that got outon lOp wilh Kinney Jones second and Vince McMahon third. McMahon, who makes big waves on the motocross circuit, didn't have too much trouble adjusting to the (Jattrack, but even lhough he took the lead on the fifth lap, Manley came back on the while-flag lap to nip him al the finish line. McMahon was secOl!d and Jones third. SUper C¥cIe Labof Day Mtekenc:l Camplng-A Special Feature at SIR A Super Cycle labor Day weekend, combining road racing and drag racing.
