Aztec Raceways was one tough track Sunday as the SPOTtS Riders Association of Colorado held an "A" motocross in Colorado Springs. The con, ditions on the course changed from tacky to slick and the riders were challenged more tpan ever. In the morning the track was wet from the previous evening's thunder showers, and then as the day wore on parts of the track became slick as an 80° sun dried up spots -and made it eXLremely tough for the riders to negotiate. Albert Firestine opened up his Yamaha and captured the overall in the I25cc Expert class by a wide margin over Mall Lindsey and Jim Mitchell. Lindsey chased Firestine in both motos but was unable to catch the swift number-one plate holder. Jim Mitchell, aboard his new Cagiva, finished both motos in third. In the 125cc B class Gary Bradley lOOk the overall with a 1-5 effort. Want to .0 ,adn.? Check the Cycle News' Calenda, Section. & MIl.. ~ ....n..
