Faller took th e Mod ifieds in a tie-break er a n d th en Manneh returned the favor wi th a tie-break in g win in th e Stock class. Faller ca me back for a nothe r tiebreak er in th e 105cc cla ss. H e ca m e o u t a s th e to p Min i Ex pert for th e day. In th e Intermed iat e classes Charlie Sampson took th ree firsts a nd a seco nd 10 win th e Stock and Modified classes. Suzu ki- mounted Dannv Hembree was righ t behind in a ll motos , but co u ld n ' t top Sa m pson's flyin g Kawasaki. Greg Rosa took a steady 2-1 effo rt to th e w in in th e Novice 12-16 class in th e Modifi ed side a nd a 4-4 third in th e S toc ks. The Stocks were ta ke n in a tw o moto sweep by G ary Pratt , wh o continues to look sha rp on hi s Kawasaki . In the 125cc Expert cla ss, T erry Fowler continued to look good a s he swep t the Stock class over defending cha m p Miotch Palmer. H e then tie brok e Oalmer for th e M odified honors. Fowler is now on top o f th e po in t heap for 1983, and Palmer will have to keep moving to repeat.
