Lewis had a clear shot at the lead while Shane Hunt took over second and Kalos managed third. Overall it was LeWis. Hunt and Kalso. Saxton won the flI'St 6·8 Modified race ahead of Heisser but in the last event he fell on a jump right before the announcer's booth and Heisser took the win over Saxton and Anthony French. Steve Skibel pulled off two wins in the 80cc Stock and Modified Novice 12 and over races. Skibel had a tremendous lead in the first Stock moto and was accidentally given the white flag when it was supposed to be the checkered. He had to continue one . extra lap and it looked like he had taken last place. Jimmy Moon finished. second, holding off Kawasaki· mounted Greg Flanagan. Skibel and Moon had a' drag race at the stan of the final'moto but Skibel pulled away with the lead. Moon was second once more and Shawn Davidson placed third. Overall it was Skibel, Moon, Flanagan and Davidson. Moon and Skibel met once more in the 80cc Modified Novice race. Moon won the first moto over Skibel while Mike Dickerson was third. It looked like Moon was going to take the overall win because he was leading the final moto just a few paces ahead of Skibel. Then the race came to a dramatic finish in the final tum. Moon hit it wrong and went squirrelly. Skibel took advantage of this and made the pass, good for the overall win. Moon captured the second place trophy ahead of Dickerson. Results PEE WEE STK: 1.
