nada- Northern California-Northern Nevada-O,egon-Washington-Idaho-Utah-AI The Sound Solution Scott Dickerson earned a hard fought win in the 250cc Junior class over Danny McDonnell who gave him all he could handle but couldn't get by. Third went to Shaun Reyna. Steve Spenker got the early jump in the 250cc Experts over Bruce Johnson, who worked his way by Spenker for the lead at the halfway point and went on for the win. Spenker held on to second for his first Expert payoff over hard charging Joe Knight. Dave Walden picked up the final payback in fourth. The reincarnation of the 1160cc Expert class brought out only four ride.rs, but the results didn't look any different than they did two years ago when the class was going strong with Jim Mahoney taking the win over Ray Huff and Danny Malfatti. A small Open Expert class was led wire to wire by Ken Netto. Debby Rocha look.ed good early before fading as Dennis Huff worked up to take second. er moved into third place. On the fourth lap, Heiberger got by Waxham and really started to make his move on ·Smith. Twenty-five feet from the finish, Heiberger passed Smith dramatically in the air and took first. Larry Wosick dusted both motos for the overall win in the 250cc Pro class. In the first moto, they left the gate with a cloud of dustl When the dust cleared, one could see Wosick in the lead with Dave Coupe in hot pursuit. Rodney Smith came from a sixth-place start for a heated battle with Wood for third place. On the fifth lap Smith turned on the gas and got by Wood to finish third behind Wosick and Coupe. In the second moto when the dust cleared again, Wosick and Coupe were dicing it the whole first lap. Wosick came out in front by lap two with Coupe in second and Smith giving him a race for his money. On lap three, Smith gassed it and passed Coupe, leaving Wood and Coupe in a heated battle for third. Wood bit the dust while trying to pass Coupe on a rough section of the track.
