PRODUCT EVALUATION SANCTIONED 20th annual 2S-lap NATIONAL TT SATURDAY APRIL 4 8 pm 9th annual Half-mile Gardena Gold Cup Oakley 0120 goggles Long known for their unique handgrips, Oakley has now entered the competitive goggle field with their new 0/20 model. The goggle body follows standard injection molding paths to protect your valued eyes, but the design is subtly different. The nose bridge is cut at a sharp angle and allows the goggle to ride more comfortably on the nose without impairing breathing. Most noticeable when first wearing the goggles is the . ability to look almost straight down as the bottom of the frame angles away from the center of vision. The goggles are available with a wide range of lenses including fog free, polarized and mirror-coated. Su~ted retail price is $20 and they are available at your Oakley dealer. MIA (EXPERTS, JUNIORS, NOVICES) FRIDAY, APRIL 3, 8 pm __ .... -.. -.. -- bike headgear. The shell is made from an innovative combination of fiberglass and Kevlar 49 and the full face design borrows a page from the pavement scratchers' design book with the addition of check pads. The pads are irritating at first and seem to restrict breathing but once on the track, the feeling disappears and the added stability to the helmet is a definite plus, particularly when crossing rough areas that cause some helmets to rattle around the wearer's head. And the features don't stop with just the actual helmet as the MX 50 comes with the first truly easy to mount duckbill. The snaps are attached to semi-circle tabs that flex to fit the helmet and the visor material itself . bends easily. Even a face first tumble will not dislodge the snaps from the helmet. Suggested retail price for the MX50 is $124.16 from your local dealer or Simpson Sports, 22630 Normandie Ave., Torrance, CA 90502.
