Stackable and his LOP Yamaha got the holeshot in the first moto of the Open Expert class and proceeded to stretch it ahea d of J a ck Beck h a m (Hon) , Glover Cisneros and a roosting Rick Blac kwell who was pushed to the outside of the first turn , Blackwell wasted no time in dispatching Becham and Cisneros and moved within two corners of Stacka ble. Blackwell gained about one and a ha lf seconds a lap for several laps, but he dropped the pace and co uld not close >the gap . The finishing order was Stac kable , Blackwell a nd Beck ha m , The second mota Blackwell on his Bill Ka sso n sponsored Yama ha grabbed the lead over Sracka b le and Beckh am. Steve and Rick reall y got down to it for severa l la ps but Rick went down b riefly in a slow turn and . let Sta cka bl e and Beckh a m past. Beckh am was right wit h Stackable , waiti ng for a .mi stake, but Bla ckwell wasn' t wa iting for J a ck to make a n error. H e flew past to ge t aft er Steve wh o obliged Rick's efforts by fa lling off and letting him past with-Bec kham in tow .
