Jon es now has a fourth . first and seco nd in three outings since switching from the Minis to the full -sized machines. Monte Vista H igh moved into the second spot off the first and second _ pla ces in th e 500 and 250cc Pros respectively by Clint Hardick and a fine second in the 125cc Intermediates by second generation rider Woody Carlson . The two toughest classes of th e night . were again the 250 and 125cc Int ermediates; in the 250s Bill Curran ended Bill Silver's win streak with a second and a first to Silver's 1-4 , both were Yamaha -mounted. Silver almost dropped to third behind Ka wasa ki rider Phil Johnson . but through a tremendous last lap effort got up to the fourth place in the second moto after running as far back as 10th .
