Anima l AI , Da isy Dave and Ridiculous Rex, all from the north , swept the Amateur class, in that order. The souths fourth place Delicate Dennis made th em work hard for it though . Dingus Dan and Begonia Bill wouldn't let a southerner beat them in their own backyard SO Scabby Skip had to settle for third place in the Intermediates ahead of hard riding Krazy Kit. Beaver Ben returned after hiding out in the d esert to win a third place in the Novice class . Rocket Rodney and Dung Dennis in their own battle for points, took fir st and se cond , respectivel y. Knievel Ken on an evil Can-Am won in the Begi nners ahead of Mutha Mike and Ringworm Rob making it a 1-2 -3 sweep for the North. Lovel y Lee was able to hang on to fourth place.
