Adolf Weil's AW400 Maico is based on the new 19n production machine with personal touches. The forks have 240mm of travel and are a combination air and soft spring. The production bikes will come with springs only. The shocks offer 240mm of rear wheel travel. Adolf uses GP Koni's w ith rem ot e reservoirs. The production bikes will come with gas Girl ings. The only other modifications that have been made to the stocker is 0.1.0. rims, thicker seat and a special Adolf Weil chain tensioner built by Weil in his shop in Germany. The bike is completely red with a black engine. Falk plastic is used all around. Weight is 217 Ibs. The Maico air caps are visible on t he forks. but the new triple clamps w ith t he allen bolt cinch for the steering steam is hidden. Gas tank is red aluminum with the same great exotic works look. - _ 26 The Maico engine has changed very little be ei a successful formula. The down has always pipe tucks very close to the frame rails to offer more protection than in the past. Side-panels and airbox are plastic and well designed. .
