race at CMC's Junior/Intermediate
day at Saddleback Park and DC

of t-shirts, chain lube, hats and visors.
Winners of the final s were awarded big
money gift certificates to spend at DG
in Anaheim. The Mini Experts were up
to their us ual dial-it-on berserko style.
Darren Penrod (Yam) and WFO Bobby
Hart were the stars. Bobby got off
shortly after the start of the second
mota but got back aboard his ultra-trick
Honda and zeroed in on the first p lace
riders, getting past all but the leader.
The top three riders of the day fo r the
Mini's were Penrod, Hart and Ric k
johnson (Ya m) . There seems to be q uite
a few "Little League" parents in vol ved
in t he Mini classes. It wo uld be good if
the riders co u ld ride, and th e watche rs
co ul d just watch .
