The three hottest DG riders, David
Taylor, Broc Glover and Mark
Tyer, completely dominated the
125 and 250 Professional events.

Along with the Taylor-Glover-Tyee
show, Long Beach Honda's Mike Bell
again. for the fourth consecutive week,
won the big 500 Pros while outlasting
'TNT's Val Tarnietti,
There was a fine turnout of Mini Pros
and Rex Smith (Yam) proved to be the
quickest as he wo n the,12 rider event.
Second overall was Bob Ott (Yam).
As 16 125 Pros lined up , the
attention was focused on numbers 1D
and 21 , Ta y lor and Glover. Taylor was
first into the sweeper and led the moto
for eight of the 10 laps until Glover
dropped in on Taylor for the lead and
the win. Along with the race for first.
ano.ther race for third ' developed
between Dave Carlson (FMF). Mark
Tyer .(DG ) and Ed Clark (Hon), This
money paying position was up for grabs
and Carlson placed the highest.
Moto two saw a ca rbon-copy of moto
one except Taylor was now the victor
and Glover second. Agai n Carlson was
right up there with the leaders but
settled for a third . Results were totaled
and with a 2-1 tally, David Taylor was
< th e overall winner, Broc Glover second
and Dave Carlson brough t in the other.
