During the second moto, while Derhammer was out front taking it easy, Jeff Eirstedt passed Hazzard for second, . only to lose half his gearbox two laps from the finish. Hazzard went on to second while · Eirstedt . cruised his Bultaco in for third, just ahead ofSteve Marusic.
