SHOT ABC/Bell Leathers announces , contingencies Getting a bit o f support into most maj or national racing programs is the major thrust o f ABC Leathers' 19 76 co ntingency program. In addition to the traditional bro adbased ,suppo rt of the AMA Grand Nation al riders, ABC is also getting into Cl\IC motocross in 11 st ates providing rider discounts and ' su ppo r t for th ree big pro rac es, d at es and ven ues to be annou nced. They 've also instit uted a $ 10 ,000 seaso n-lo n g program fo r S RA continge ncy p lus dis counts to s p ee dw ay, license -holders. Fo r ro ad racin g. th e co mpany is still talking with AFM and \V/ERA. The major portion, pushing $ 11 ,000, is budgetted for the AMA Gr an d National series - $7200 fo r dirt tr ack and $3300 for road racing. In the AMA 's four pavement Na tio nals. A BC's program will p ay the top ten Experts. plus the top five in Ligh tweight Expert . Superbike Production an d Novice classes.
