Rick Woods lopped all riders in the
12 5 Expert Main and followed with a
second in th e Open Expert event. Rick
is becoming a domin ant force in the
Exp ert ranks and should be a pl ate
cand ida te in ' 76 if he d ecides t o chase
o ne.
The 50 0 Main was cap tu red by "old
rel iable" Roy Winters, who seemed to
react well to pressure from the younger
troops. Davidson missed an opportunity
to wrest BP 20 from Jorgenscn when he
bail ed on the corral tum while running
second.
Ricky Graham's trip to the Valley
was crash-strewn after he co llided with
Craig Scroggins in the 250 Main while
challen ging for first. The win went to
Winters, Hannah was again second a nd
Kim J::lTgensen third to ti c for "Numero
Uno.
Mini Expert action featured victories

Cantaloupi steals
the show at Lodi

On e Hundred seventy riders
braved the nippy Thanksgiving
weather at th e Bowl today and
racing over th e hard, dry,.one-half
mile course was fast and furious.
14-y ear-old Expert Don Cantaloupi
borrowed Mark Muscio's Yamaha and
proceeded to blitz the troops in th e 125
Main. Don ch arged from fifth up
through traffic a nd spent the last several
laps doing wheelies up and down the
banks and through the spectator's
section.
The 25 0 Expert Main w as marred by
a crash between Pro Novi ce Ricky
Graham and CantaJoupi while dicing for
first. Craig Scroggins scooted hi s Kaw
through the mess for the win while
CantaJoupi recovered in time to retain
